- Provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and expression of concerns
- Works to secure benefits collectively that cannot be obtained individually
- Voices a collective opinion for recommended courses of action or change of needs to administrative staffs of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service , Prairie View A&M University Cooperative Extension Program, and the TAMU system
